Commvault is looking for a motivated Tier 2 Cloud Support Engineer to serve as a technical subject matter expert for its Clumio cloud data protection platform. In this customer-facing role, you will work closely with Premier and Enterprise clients to optimize their multi-cloud environments, troubleshoot complex system behaviors, and educate them on data security best practices. Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of solid experience across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a firm handle on networking, IAM policies, compute instances, cloud storage, and database concepts.
  • 1 to 2 years of dedicated experience working with Backup and Disaster Recovery architectures.
  • Must hold at least an Associate-level Cloud Certification (such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or equivalent GCP/Azure credentials).
  • Practical working knowledge of infrastructure deployment tools like Terraform or general automation scripting to replicate issues and analyze infrastructure setups.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and verbal/written communication skills to manage technical incidents via phone, chat, and ticketing channels.
  • Prior experience in enterprise technical support, a Technical Account Manager (TAM) or Professional Services capacity, leading architecture reviews, or facilitating post-incident deep dives.
